The Choice

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]God’s Plan[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Man’s Plan[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]God’s Dilemma: God loves us and doesn’t want anyone to be lost. Yet God is holy and just. He must judge sin.
2 Peter 3:9, Habakkuk 1:13[/ezcol_1half]

[ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Man’s Dilemma: All fall short. Will man honestly admit his sin or will he try to hide it or try to compensate?
Proverbs 28:13, John 3:20[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]God’s Solution: Provide a substitute to take the punishment we deserve for our sins. Jesus is our Sin-Bearer –He bore our sins by dying on the cross.
I Peter 2:22-24, Matthew 2:46,  Isaiah 53:5-6[/ezcol_1half]

[ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Man’s Solutions: Either deny sin, shift blame on others more sinful, or try to compensate by doing “enough” good works.
Luke18:9-14 & 18-19, Genesis 3:6-12[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]Does God’s Solution Work? Yes! Jesus proved it by rising from the dead. He died with our sins upon Him. He rose the third day, proving forgiveness and new life is possible. By rising from the dead, Jesus also proved that He is who He claimed — The Son of God.
Romans 10:9, John 14:9,11, John 10:30[/ezcol_1half]

[ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Does Man’s Solution Work? No. It’s already too late. For example, if a man steals one item and not a hundred like the “bad” sinner–he still has broken God’s law–“Thou shalt not steal.” It just takes one single sinful action to break God’s law. God’s standard is perfection. We may be able to fool others, but can we fool God?
Romans 3:20, Matthew 5:20,48,  James 2:10, Galatians 6:7-8[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]You can receive God’s Gift of Eternal Life. Forgiveness of sins and new life is available as a free gift. It comes by placing your trust in Jesus Christ. He gave His life for you–invite Him into your life.
Revelations 3:20, John 3:16, John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, I John 4:19[/ezcol_1half]

[ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]Man’s Plan is a Dead End. When driving a car, what does the driver do when he reaches a dead end? Common sense tells him to turn around.
Proverbs 16:25, Hebrews 3:15,  2 Corinthians 5:20, Acts 3:19,  Matthew 7:13-14[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]You have everything to gain and nothing of real value to lose.
Romans 6:20-21[/ezcol_1half]

[ezcol_1half_end id=”” class=”” style=””]You have everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Mark 8:36-37. Luke 16:19-31[/ezcol_1half_end]

We suggest you pray this prayer of trust,

“Lord Jesus, I recognize I have sinned. I know I deserve God’s just judgment. I recognize you took my punishment when you died on the cross for my sins. Thank you for offering forgiveness and new life as a free gift. I receive it now by faith. I know you are risen from the dead. I invite you into my life. I want a personal relationship with you. Thank you for being my Lord and Savior. You gave your life for me, I give my life to you. Amen.”
